Intercollegiate Sports in America, 1900-2015 Spring 2015 Tuesday 4-6 and online Reading Assignments Reading The core information for this course begins with the online reader that has a set of required and additional readings for each week of the course, beginning with Week 3. The readings, beginning on Week 3, have required items everyone should read, and in addition a considerable number of other items that address a wide range of relevant topics. Each weeks' readings indicate the required items. These readings, in addition to the class presentation, provide the material that we discuss online. Everyone will be able to demonstrate their knowledge by explicit reference to particular articles, chapters, or other sources when making comments in the forum discussions. Only those registered for the course or given explicit permission as guests can access all the readings. When you click on a reading item, you will get a username/password request. The username/password for this semester is as follows: Username: lombardi Password: his15 Students can read the materials listed for each section at any time, but they will do best if they read the items before the week of the discussion.
